Description

Critical Point Dryer (CPD) is used for drying of biological samples such as pollen, tissue, plants, insects, as well as industrial samples, for Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis. Fully automated system, ensuring reproducible and controlled processes to ensure high sample quality with every run.

Capabilities

  • Exchange fluid = acetone or ethanol
  • Transitional fluid = CO2
  • Wide variety of sample holders for varying sample sizes
  • Max volume = 185 mL
  • Immediate calculation and display of complete process time
  • Max operating pressure = 79 bar
  • Heating range = adjustable from 33℃ to 43℃
  • Heating time control = 1℃ to 3℃ per minute
  • Cooling capacity = 90 W at -5℃ (2500 1/min)
  • Cooling range = adjustable from 5℃ to 25℃
  • Cool down time = 2℃ per minute
